Jeez... ok ISU would have been 4th in The west. Behind Wisconsin Northwestern and Iowa. The AP had ISU higher in the area of getting votes, but due to exact same records the head to head would have given the edge to iowa. This makes ISU 4th. Going by what you are claiming (which is incorrect and not factual but I will do it anyway) ISU would be 3rd.

If teams in the same conference have identical records. The nod goes to the head to head winner.... every single time.

Northwestern was ranked 17 in the final AP voting
