You're paying a 10-14 coach the same amount as a team that just went 9-3 in the SEC West and gave him a half a million $ bonus for getting to 6 wins. It sounds to me like Pollard got strong-armed.

Pollard is paying a second year coach that went 3-9 in his first year and then 7-5 (so far) in his second year. Should probably tell the whole story, even though it doesn't fit your narrative.
