How do you know you dont already have one?

Like in the ground already?

I bought the house from a woman who was 101, the house was built in 1900 and had never been sold before, just passed down in the family. As far as the neighbors tell me, this is the first dog to live on the property :)

LMAO..WOW...his question flew right over your head..LOL

I installed an Innotek invisible fence. It was by far the cheaper solution. For $120 and an afternoon with a shovel it was installed and ready to go. I only had two problems. One, my border collie was smart enough to test the fence and figure out the weakness. This only took a few weeks. There was a brief delay between the warning tone and shock when you came to the wire zone. If you moved fast enough toward the zone you could get through with only the warning tone sounding and no zap. It seemed cruel to turn off the warning tone and limit it only to zap. The second problem was that their collar was "water-resistant" which meant whenever it rained outside the collar was useless. Twice my dog got out when it rained because the collar does nothing when it is wet. I called Innotek and they informed me that the collar was merely water resistant and that I could order a water-proof collar for x amount of dollars. Nice. Fast forward two years later and my dog is well trained and stays in the yard without a fence. I doubt that would have been possible without the fence because it taught her the boundary of our yard.

Surprised this hasn't been asked yet...what does an invisible dog look like? I'm thinking about getting a new dog. Do you have pictures?

(Probably shouldn't need this for most of you... :jimlad:)
Yeah, can I get the number for the breeder? I'm also interested in an invisible dog.

As for the invisible dog fence, I would assume you can just use any fence that would also control a visible dog. In fact, I would reccommend going with one of those buried electric fences... that way you'll be able to find you dog by his electric collar.
