I wouldn't expect miracles from Brezina folks. He's a true freshman and has not played a single down of college football. Very decent chance he's going to still have a LOT to learn, and playing your first college game in Kinnick Stadium is no cakewalk. Glad to have his depth available if he's truly back, but lowering my expectations.

Well not great for Saturday but better overall than expected. Many here were saying McLaughlin was done for the year. If we can have him and the OL guys back by conference play, that would be big.

Pretty sure he played some on Saturday. Would not be playing without all the injuries to others though. Same with Klosterman... a walk on. But you have to play with who ya got. Klosterman actually had some good plays.

For him personally, he's a walk on from iowa city. Pretty cool for him to be in this position for that reason alone. Probably unexpected in this role to have this opportunity. I thought he did some really nice things so I'd expect him to play plenty of linebacker snaps he probably wouldn't have gotten to otherwise.

Just looked at the participation report, he’s there.

Surprised me, too. Given how the coaches haven’t mentioned him at all, I assumed he was still working back from last year.
