I don't know what it is but it isn't pizza.Chicken Alfredo Lotzza Motzza
I’ve always felt that way about Great Plains.I don't know what it is but it isn't pizza.
The problem is that they are so big, they take up the entire oven and won't fit on anything I have to cut it and serve it. I typically try to reuse the box for this, but my wife is notorious for cleaning up and throwing it out between the time it goes in the oven and when it needs to come out.

Go buy a larger pizza pan. The Aldi take and bake is really good. And cheap.
been getting these at costco lately, really good.Motor City Pizza Co Detroit style with some added mushrooms.

I’ve got a pepperoni and a meat lovers in the freezer. It’s nice that the west Ames Hy-vee is stocking them again. For quite a while they weren’t.Anyone stocking up on Frozen Blums today for the holiday?

It's good, chicken bacon ranch tooBig fan of a white sauce pizza. Never had the Lotzza Motzza chicken alfredo though. Cheap chicken like that grosses me out.
Great Plains is ok, nothing great, down home around Ottumwa a lot of the BPs have God Fathers, which is very good. On Wednesday we had our weekly night out with the daughter and grandkids and went down to Polk City, excellent pizza place on the NW corner of the little town square. Well worth the drive down from Ames.As a college kid growing up in Iowa I freaking loved Great Plains but as an adult having traveled and lived around the world I'm not sure I could go back to it. I'm guessing I would try Pizza Pit or some new place if I was back in Ames looking for local pizza (or even pick one up from Casey's now that that's "exotic" from living far away). From my memory Great Plaines is just more cheese than this aging guy would want to tackle, the thick crust wouldn't bother me so much.
