Feedback: Ignoring People?

What bothers me most, is that it's users I don't recognize or even have debates with typically.
You might think it's someone who I've disagreed with for threads and threads and we're taking it to another level, but it isn't that at all...
The internet is serious business.
And yes, you can just ignore people in real life. I do it every day. If I didn't, I'd go insane.
Exactly. I would agree that you can't ignore people in public, but when going in private you can.
When looking at this site, I view the threads as being "public". I wouldn't ignore someone just because of what they post in the threads.
I view the PMs as being "private". If you went home, you certainley wouldn't want people banging on the door of your house, or calling you over and over and leaving you nasty voicemails. I was complaining about people writing me stuff in private that was teetering to crossing the line.
I hope people understand and do not think I am childish...
I would agree that you should report unappropriate pm's to the mods otherwise just delete PM's from the meat hooks who think they're cool harassin you. People like to act tough when they hide behind a keyboard.
Definitely do this. I think you can also report a PM (a red X should show up in the lower left of your viewing screen), and those will then go to a place where mods can view/discuss them.
