This was the song I remember downloading/listening to when I got my first iPod. What's yours?

I still have my 2006 60 gig iPod that cost 600 bucks. Still have the Jessica Simpson “Boots are made for walking” video on it too. Ahh…the carefree life of high school

Where they love the governor
I wasn't cool enough to have the white corded earbuds.

I went with the cheap versions, which served me well until they crapped out. One of which cratered at mile 16 of a marathon. Talk about suck...

Late Regestration by Kanye. I sniped a good deal on a gen 6 not too long ago on ebay, it's basically my remote control for our smart tvs and other devices throughout the house.
That was a great album.

I preferred the iPod nano (4th or 5th gen) over the newer full screen ones. A lot easier to use while working out with the smaller size. But the shuffles were just too small to be useful.

Still use my first generation iPod touch and it has the absolute best battery life of any apple product I own.

Never had an iPod. I had MP3 players though that I used for running.

I think my song was "Over My Head" by The Fray because it was the free download on itunes that week.

I spent a lot of time converting my cassette and cd collection over to a hard drive for my ipod. It's collecting dust in the center console of my car now, but I played the hell out of that sucker.

I felt spoiled to have all of that music in one hand-held device. I showed it off to my daughter a while back, and she gave me this look that can only be described as amused pity.

The tiny little one that clipped onto clothes and stuff was the best iPad ever for exercising. I always hated running with an arm band holding the full size iPod.

Soooo, my husband found me ridiculous because I had a first gen iPod, two Nanos, a video iPod, and then an iPod Touch. I went everywhere with them.

I had SO much White Stripes. All of the indie. Vampire Weekend was probably my most played.

I won a Diamond Rio in a drawing at ‘98 CES in Vegas. Tagged along with a friend who had an invention. I’m pretty sure it was the second or first portable MP3 player. It played about 10-20 songs. I was a runner and it was revolutionary for that compared to anything else, the only thing comperable for a runner at the time was the smallest radio only radios.

I still use the tiny clip iPod with no screen for running and rock climbing. I can’t believe how many people do stuff like that with a full sized phone in their pocket.

I need to look up if it exists but just a pair of lightweight headphones I could load 200 songs on would be ideal with no additional hardware.

Also the “AirPods” are a total joke for active people. Three strides and they fall out for me. $20 set of Bluetooth headphone with the ear hook are a million times better. I’ve seen lost AirPods laying all over the place on hiking trails and rock climbing gyms.
