There is absolutely no good that can come from this unfortunately. Callahan was the worst thing that could have happened to Nebraska. Good enough to win 7-9 game most seasons in Lincoln, but crappy enough to always keep the Huskers mediocre.

He could recruit so I think whoever becomes the new coach will have some pretty good talent to work with.

Assistant coaches are still going to recruit. It will be up to the new coach to retain or fire according to news conference.

Im curious as to whos coming back on offense next year. i'll give KNU some credit, they can pile on the points. With any luck lots of graduating seniors next spring and they have to start from scratch.

Recent sighting of Kirk Ferentz driving in Lincoln with the top down.

I believe we may have gotten Chizik at the right time. Baylor, Nebraska and A&M are looking for coaches this year and Gene would have been considered for all of them. Plus, if Mac had stayed this year, we probably would have cut bait this year and we would have been looking too. We're one season ahead of those teams. Do we play A&M and Baylor next year? Hopefully

Ohh they will hire a coach as opposite as Bill as they can. Go back to the power running game. I would love to see that, since no one past HS football runs that offense anymore.

West Virginia? Arkansas?
