This Saturday on June 24th. We also have a silent & live auction.

One of the items on the silent auction is an Iowa State hat with the #6 stitched on it. 5 more will be sold on the live auction on Saturday. We will then draw a winner from the 6 that purchased the hats for 2 NCAA Tournament tickets in Kansas City.

As soon as the link is posted, I will get it posted here

Well hurry up and get that link posted. And if your "niece" wins these tickets like she "won" the Taylor Swift tickets, I'm calling foul.

How about a recap for us commoners about how the day went?

What wrestlers made it? Any insider nuggets you can share? How much did you raise buf, and how many cherry bombs did you have?

And you better not have won those national tickets!!!!

An inch of rain in the morning for the farmers. Delayed the start an hour until 11 AM. Nice weather all afternoon and another inch of rain last night.

Great day of golf, excellent meal (both the noon meal of pork burgers donated by the Bowden family & the evening meal donated by Lynch Livestock).

No I didn't win the 2 tickets to Nationals, but the guy that got the hat on the silent auction did win the tickets.

Tim Krieger is a hell of a golfer. Fun group to chat with! My good friend John Thorn, Tim Krieger, Joe Gribben, and Long ball hitter Ben Durbin was the 4 some.

We got a real nice check from Tim. Much appreciated.

John Conlon does a heck of a job leading our group!

Joel Edge is a great auctioneer for us.

Fun group and glad to be a part of it.

Not sure on the total, but over $50,000 + Tim's donation

Our hole sponsors were 5 more than last year at 37. ($500 minimum)
Prize sponsors were the same at 4 ($250 minimum)
And our Event sponsor is the same (Traditions at Twin Lakes)

We will always take more sponsors next year. Great events and great to see some Cyclone Fanatics getting involved sponsoring and golfing!

This sounds like a great event. How many years has this been happening? If you mentioned this earlier, my apologies.

Smaller social on Dresser's 1st year. We did a social event for a few years, all in Humboldt except one in Fort Dodge. I think the last 3 have been golf outing at the Humboldt Country Club.
