If there is a conference realignment soon most signs point to it being TV contract reasons and revenues from that. That said there are so many different things that could tie into that: ISU in a very, very small market, Notre Dame, recruiting, many more...

If ISU does not go to a conference with decent TV deals in place, do we sink further? How many perspective recruits want to go to University A with no TV time or University B with plenty of TV time? Not only for family to watch but also pro teams that might scout from TVs?

There are so many different ways that the TV contracts seem to be controlling all of the future.

I know it is the way of the world, but when did conference alignments and school choices become all about sports and money? Even if ISU ends up in a dream conference, I'm ready to say college sports needs to be taxed.
