This song played during warm-ups at every baseball game in College and I agree I sure hope 29 isn't middle aged.
It's been a long day and I hate the ******* Eagles!mharder is correct. This song is "The Last Resort". Henley sang it, but it is an Eagles song. He co-wrote it with Glen Frey, but it was mostly Henley.
I don't agree with their political views, but I'm proud to be a middle age Eagles fan. I've even stood on the corner in Winslow, Arizona...
Not to get side tracked, but I have had numerous conversations with my 22 year old daughter, who likes my era of music as well as today's Indie low budget music (I am 48), about what current artists will be having their music played 20 years from now.
I contend there are no current artists that will transcend generations like the following artists of my generation:
The Who
The Rolling Stones
The Eagles
The Beatles
Pink Floyd
Queen
Aerosmith
and the list goes on and on and on
Argue amongst yourselves
