Staying at the Marriott Suites in Downers Grove $114/night, parking in Lot K at United Center. Not worried about traffic............I have a wife that's a planner :twitcy:

Where is everyone staying? Didn't realize you would have to pay to park at a hotel.

I'm brining my wife and our six year old son. We'll be staying at the LaQuinta Inn & Suits downtown. It is one of the few places with a pool and free breakfast. It is also equidistant between the United Center and Maggie Daley Park. To get the UC all we have to do is hop on the bus and ride it straight west on Madison Ave.

For those of you bringing elementary aged kids you should take a look at Maggie Daley park. It is awesome. We're headed there on Saturday as long as the weather cooperates.

Assuming these all cost to park?

Just booked on hotwire and got the "Club Quarters" right next to (part of?) Central Loop Hotel. $70+tax. Not super close to the Navy Pier, but it will do.

Anyone down there?
