My parents have been having difficulty with their wireless internet and need someone or a service that could help them get their WIFI straightened out. Is there are service around the Des Moines or Ames are that specializes in this? My parents live in rural Boone County so they technician would need to drive a bit.
My parents have fiber optic internet but their router is an older linksys that doesn't reach very far and won't reach their whole house. When they purchased the new router, it wouldn't work (tried multiple routers). I tried to help them but was stumped by the issue and the internet provider was no help. The old router still works, just limited range. My Dad also has a farm shop with an office that he wanted to have access to the wifi as well.
My parents are close to retirement so they are not very tech savvy and it is difficult for me to help them over the phone. I would like to see if they could just pay someone to help them get it all set up properly and figure it all out.
