Classic overreaction tonight. That's why you don't give up on a game, much less the season and this team. Quite frankly, many fans on here don't deserve to enjoy this win. Absolutely embarrassing how quickly fans turn on a team. Good thing those players have more composure than most "fans" on here.

Hmmm...where was this post, (and your confidence in the team) at halftime?

"Lost the Team" "Lost the locker room" are a couple of the most over used phrases in sports right now. I Was just telling my wife this morning how ******** it is when anyone says that. The morning news was saying that about the Blackhawks this morning about their recent woes. Amazing how after your leading scorer goes down, it's suddenly trouble in the locker room. Everyone wants to find an excuse and blame someone else as to why their life isn't going perfect. Imagine what the players on that team you are rooting for feel like.

I can't believe anyone said that about this team. We are talking about college kids here. Most college kids think they can conquer the world, imagine what it's like as a sports hero when everyone around you is telling you you're the best. Sometimes the players on the court just don't execute like they've been taught, for probably a number of reasons, it's really that simple.

To be fair it probably is more about one of their better scorers allegedly sleeping with teammates' wives and girlfriends.

I think he did lose em for the last two games and the first 1/2 tonight. Probably his greatest coaching moment to date to reel them back in tonight and get that W.

This is Fred's fifth season coaching. Ever. Let that sink in, everyone. Of course he's going to make mistakes from time to time, but I think he's doing a pretty damn good job. I honestly have yet to complain.

Hell yes. I get upset, but if you guys ever catch me throwing a player or coach under the bus, slap that ***** in your signature line because that bird is ******* rare.

There have been a lot of posts recently about this team being like last years, and they are RIGHT. Last year's team didn't get really hot/tough until the end of the year heading into the tournaments. Guess what, end of the year and we're really gearing up for the tourneys again. Last year we went 3-2 over our last 5 games, including losses at unranked KSU and at unranked Baylor and an OT win against unranked OSU in Hilton. This year we're 2-2 with one game left, and our losses are against 19th ranked Baylor and at unranked KSU.

We're 21-8 / 11-6 with one game left, still in the hunt for a Big 12 title share (KU still has to play WVU and OU) and the top seed in the conference tourney. We're still in a pretty good spot. Take care of business in Dallas this weekend, then crank it up for the tournaments.

I'm enjoying it and still not satisfied with the season so far.

And I feel like I deserve to enjoy it because I've put money towards the program, have high expectations for this program, and after tonight, will be looking forward to, and expecting a big win against TCU.

Of everything said on this site tonight, this might be the funniest.

'After The Fact Guy' is just the worst.

I love it when people post this crap to try to shame everyone else. I'm willing to bet you thought the game was over too and just didn't post it.

The team looked lost in the 1st half. And were playing defense like they've tended to play this year...like a team that's not coached to get after teams on defense. I'm not saying Hoiberg doesn't think it's important, but it certainly doesn't seem to resonate with the players consistently.

Then they started getting after OU and the result was some of the best ball of the season.

It seems like when they REALLY get after teams on D, the offense feeds off of it much more than the other way around.

Not sure what happened, but I hope Hoiberg's halftime speech somehow involved a cigar.

You were melting down two minutes into the game in the game chat.

Ou had a 20 point lead on freaking Creighton, and coughed it up, they had a 20 point lead on Texas and managed to pull it out of their ***.

If anyone follows Big 12 hoops, they can see OU and ISU are very similar, they can build a big lead and they can blow a big lead.

The team pretty much flip the bird back at ******** twitter posters, and those who go full hyperbole on the message board at the first sign of adversity.
