Hey band

While I spent most of the game taking abuse (most of it good natured except for one a-hole) from the KU student section you won them over.

They started off booing but were all clapping at the end. A couple of comments I overheard were "wow, our band would never attempt that" and "their band is better than their football team."

You were also just about as loud facing the other way as KU's was facing us.

The band is better than the team - all year long the band did great.

Especially when we were waiting for ABC to let us finish the game and they broke into cowbell
