Not exactly sure.
Daughter was discussing weddings with me tonight (wife and youngest are on a mission trip so it’s just me and her). She’s not engaged but been dating this guy for 4 years. I gave her my invite list. 15 relatives (several will have parts in the wedding I’m guessing since my daughter feels tighter with my family) 3 close friends and up to 6 more possibly.

I have a large number of cousins. So I’m doing the all/none as none. Told her I can give the list because the wife will turn in 250-300, so I will just cut right away and make it simple. Glad it’s one daughter and 2 sons.

Largely in coast mode into vacation/airventure. Closely watching the forecast for Oshkosh as well.
I'm just the opposite. I am scrambling to get as much squared away as possible before being out for a week. I have already delayed my departure a few hours to possibly get a meeting squeezed in Friday morning before I go. I don't want it all ****** up when they have it next week without me.

Time of month wise it is falling really well this year. I have been able to get my June month end reports done and am somewhat slow to begin with outside of that and then I come back the week after to kick off July month end.

I remember those days - I never wanted my last boss to cover for me when I was gone because she really had no client skills, and really didn't know how I did what I did. She alienated a lot of faculty, and gave a lot of gardeners inaccurate info. She was somewhat effective when disseminating info to farmers, but she never got the knack of speaking to them in their vernacular.

I busted my ass before leaving, checked emails while I was gone, and had a stack of stuff to clean up when I returned.

Sadly, vacations can feel like a pain in the rear when it comes to work. You have to work a bunch extra to get ahead before you leave and work a bunch extra when you get back to get caught up.

Traveling is a lot easier now that we're no longer working. :D

If you used words like vernacular to farmers……you had them confused.

I'm not sure I get to invite anybody to my daughter's wedding. She's planning on inviting my one cousin and my sister. We'll invite a couple neighbor friends. I'm not sure about my friends from Iowa and around the country.

Perhaps you should be planning a livestream.

Had a brake test on Das Audi today. It passed.

Been a long time since I had to do an emergency stop to keep from slamming into another car. Stupidly careless driver pulled out right in front of me. If I hadn't already been eyeballing her car I am not sure I could have stopped in time. You could see she was not looking left where I was coming from and pulled out from a side street turning left right in front of me. Everything in the car went flying.
