The back story is there was a caged bear by kanawha and one night JM got drunk, lured it with carp from twin lakes and did unspeakable things to it
It’s lucky it had escaped before I hit high school or something of this order was entirely in the cards.

Dang being a Dr. Is just not a career that you think of people getting out of. Is he switching to sales? A friend of mine's daughter sells shoulder replacements ( the parts) I guess she is actually in the O.R. during surgery. He says that pays pretty good.

That’s actually pretty common with medical device sales. Often they have the expertise on the device itself. I have to call reps all the time if there are pacemaker issues as an example.

More and more people are trying to exit as soon as possible. I’m shooting for part time only by 44/45 and if I could figure out a way to get insurance it would be full retirement

Medical industry is SO screwed up. Not enough people so everybody is overworked. Not enough money to hire more people. Infinite rules and bureaucracy.

My sister works for a hospital chain in MN dealing with process/system/EPIC between the hospital, the USG, insurers, etc. They try to make the tools serve the employees, but what it really is the employees serve the tools to satisfy the USG and insurers requirements and regulations. Its insanely complicated, and it changes frequently. She talks about how bad it is, but doesn't really think it can be fixed. Her take is no matter what you do to address the problem, it will cause another problem to become worse. I suppose it will all have to basically breakdown completely and start over.

Where’s the best place to find a good used car? Been out of the car buying game for years and apparently The market has gone completely f*cking insane. Currently driving a midsized sedan. Got a bajillion miles on it because I drive a lot for work and going to pass it on to the daughter. Need something similar, no bells and whistles. Just good gas mileage.

Anyone heard from curt? Maybe those berries were poisonous. When someone in here dies, the rest of us get to loot their stuff. Maybe get her a race at for free.

No real recommendations but I've got 73,000 on a 23 Kia. I've been happy with keep it under 70 and it gets 40+mpg. They don't make Rios anymore but the K4 or Forte sort of fit the economy sedan role. I ended up with it because used car prices were ridiculous when I needed a car.

You could replace a lot of these words with references to education.

The answer to everything seems to be to create more admin positions to form a committee, and another committee to name the committee.
