I've been sick for days and missed the post.
That said, and from this reaction, you overreact awfully strongly and leave out key details routinely, so whatever.
Well maybe don't comment when you don't even know what is going on. But yes, everybody cheats. I reacted strongly because I was already dreading you weighing in on this. We all already know your take - everybody cheats - you've made that abundantly clear before this. I almost didn't post it because I didn't want your everybody cheats take on it. I wanted fresh takes from other posters who don't go into every situation expecting that everyone cheats and eager to catch them on it.

I wrote a ******* book on it. I could have included more details but I took pity on the readers.

Whatever indeed.

Not exactly sure.
Tomorrow my daughter receives her first paycheck for a full time job. I wish I could see her reaction to her first seeing it, although I have primed her a bit for it.

Then this weekend we will sit down and fine tune the budget I roughly laid out for her, and she can keep dialing it in to what she sees as a realistic one. Then maybe we can be down to one kid at home. This is my spender so it’s the one who I need to guide the most. My boys are frugal almost to a fault.

My older son has a VERY frugal wife. It has served him well.

Congrats to you daughter!

One of those mornings where a bunch of things getting on my nerves. Employee in the parking lot doesn't know how to park his truck and is half-way in the aisle for the second day in a row. Someone overfilled the coffee pot while making coffee and coffee was all over the break room counter. Sent in a IT request yesterday and they decided to respond asking questions at 11:30 last night.

I used to make the coffee really strong. Double the amount of coffee. Make it sting

One day a woman came in, took a sip, and proceeded to curse whoever made this coffee...

I stood there drinking my cup and watching the show. It was amazing. I made it even stronger next time.

Was watching an older TV clip.

Dude was wearing a tie. It almost seems old-timey to wear a tie now.

They look kind of weird.
Watch any movie about the space race - white, short sleeved shirts, dark pants, black thick-rimmed glasses (BCG's if you were in the military) and thin ties. Oh yeah, also the omnipresent pocket protector. My father had a whole closet full of those uniforms. :D

Where to?
Ever exciting Richardson, Texas. I don't generally mind travel but the circumstances of this one and short term notice is what has me on edge a bit. I know I will be going down in February and probably once a month for a few months after that but this one was a surprise and still have some unknowns on it.

Those marvelous bastids sent men to the moon using aluminum foil and a slide rule.

Much respect to that uniform. The uniform of the New Frontier

...but short sleeves and a tie should be outlawed in 2025. Then just outlaw a dang tie while we're at it. A dang scarf in the 21st century? Nah.

My simple advice to you is to never write a book.
