What three pages in and zero reference to the great Full Metal Jacket quote of "holly *******, only two things come from Texas, steers and queers. And you certainly don't look like a steer " ... maybe para phrased a bit.

That quote was used 5 years earlier in the movie Officer and a Gentleman, but without the xtra part “without the courtesy of a reach around”

Who the eff ever thought college baseball was relevant?
Who the eff ever thought college baseball was relevant?

The link was referenced as "ammunition" for UT fans to use against their in-state rival Aggies. UT thinks the stat is hilarious.. Their dislke of OU is much deeper. Anti- UT jabs: disrespecting the hook 'em sign & "dispecting" Bevo! (depending on your audience)

Side note for CyberJJJ: Here are some suggestions of things to do if you have extra time: visit the capitol, walk around UT campus (including LBJ Presidential Library (on campus), go to Scholz Garten & 6th Street. All are within walking distance of downtown. Tip: traffic=nightmare.

If you will be there on March 2, you could go to "The Drum" & cheer on both Cyclone teams! BB doubleheader& UT has a special Texas 2 step ticket offer.. (tickets to both games for $20) probably aren't great seats but think you can sit anywhere ( even by MM?)

Please let us know how your trip went! I have been to both a FB & BB game there & have found their fans to be very cordial. Have fun down there!

Oh, and you should support this place. They hosted today's game-watch. A friend texted me that Naz Long and Neil Barry showed up.

Here is the blurb from the ISU Alumni events page:

"Cover 3 sports restaurant features an upscale menu with a large drink selection (see http://cover-3.com), and is conveniently located right off Mopac Highway with FREE parking in the adjoining garage."

Regarding the Texas game on March 2nd, this game actually affords an extremely rare opportunity to see both the men and women play in Austin on the same day. The men tipoff at 1PM and the women start at 7PM. We are planning an all day event for Scholz Garden that day and have been in touch with the coaching staffs to secure a visit between games.
(From DFW Cyclone Cub)
We have secured a limited number of lower level tickets at group rates of $32 (Men) and $12 (Women)

Click Here and use Promo Code - ISUALUMNI

They also have a special price for tickets to both games for $20 total but the seats are not aren
