Sweet Caroline sucks.
I will not donate to the South EndZone until that song is buried and Temporary President-salary-reciever Leath issues an executive order that Sweet Caroline not be played in Story County.
I am pretty sure we lost to Cinncinnati in basketball because the sucky soundwaves from Sweet Caroline traveled across the country and arrived in Las Vegas....causing several turnovers from our men's team.
Yeah, good times never felt so good like losing to West Virginia....that feels real good. Students love to wallow in defeat. They should play some Andy William Moon River or Lawrence Welk over the Public System so our defensive backs and safeties can Chillax while giving 10, 15, 20 yard cushions to our opponents recievers. I don't know about you, but I remember my high school football coach pumping in the Englebert Humperdink while coaching me to not get too close to those recievers! Can we play Nebraska again and find idiotic ways to lose too? Those were the good 'ol days.
Have there been any couch burning photos posted yet. I hope somebody at least let loose on a lazy boy.

Almost the entire stadium was swaying to the music, The music is NOT the reason we lost the game. Bad defense is the reason we lost the game.

The bad defense was caused by bad music. Haven't you seen enough evidence of mind control this month to believe in it! Hell, if playing some violent, mysoginistic eminem crap would get #11 or #7 to make a tackle or cover someone, I would say insert an MP3 player into their helmet.

Sweet Caroline is and should only be a freaking victory song that is it. We need better stuff to get the crowd pumped up. There are a lot of things we need to work on for game day atmosphere. Should we practice this the night before a game? chants etc. It is getting better, but with the big crowds we have been having at Jack Trice we need to keep that place rocking all game.

And one final post on soothing elevator muzak affecting our player's psyche.......it isn't just the pass coverage that sucks with the COACHED buffers...it is the fact they are getting downfield blocked 10 or 12 yards downfield instead of supporting run defense. Lord, watch a good team and how their corners play. They are run defenders within .05 seconds of recognizing it as a run.....our guys are running backwards like some dancing with the stars d-list boy band celebrity while locked up with some hillbilly 20 freaking yards down the field. The block starts that far downfield! Go check the tape. Wish we had a corner or safety even within 10 freaking yards of the line of scrimmage on some of those second half sweeps we saw. I blame Sweet Caroline.
