I just did it. It's crazy. It's pretty much a damn tricorder at this point.

QR codes is the main thing that I use it for.
Pretty simple technology. There has been text recognition software on the market for years and writing code to solve a soduko probably isn't all that hard. Combining those to run on a phone in a seamless quick program is the challenge.
Being an electrical engineer, I only program when I have to, but I would say that an algorithm that works on a phone as quickly as that did to solve a Sudoku puzzle is pretty impressive.
