Good Vet in Ankeny?

Just got a new puppy last week. I was wondering if people in the Ankeny area could recommend a good vet that is affordable!

Well since we have 2 of the 4 vets nailed down, I will suggest the third. Ankeny pet and aviary is great. They are in the old hardees building on 69 just north of magazine.

Creature Comforts on Delaware has been great for us the past 2 years. All ISU grads and very reasonable. Stay open till 6 or 7 on some weeknights so you can be there after work. We have had to call on weekends and they have answered, which is tough anymore.

I would second Creature Comforts. I think they are reasonably priced, they know what they are doing and their faciity seems very nice. They are open later on some days which has been nice so I didn't have to take off work.

I second the nomination of Dennis Riordan, or his brother who is with him in his clinic. Really good doctors and Cyclones

We take our pets to the Riordan brothers. They are both ISU grads and pretty good with our pets. Not sure how they compare on price though.

Ankeny Animal and Avian is great. Tell them we sent you. We've been going to them for 10 years. Doc Faulkner is the owner, he is an ISU grad and Dr. Jacobson is too!

I have been with Riordan Brothers (Chuck in Des Moines -Dennis and Terry in Ankeny) for twenty years. Since I am in Des Moines I see Chuck mostly but occassionally I have made the trip to ankeny when scheduling conflicts arise. Not only are they great vets. I believe that all of them are ISU Vet Grads. I know that Chuck is an avid cyclone supporter.

ditto. Dr(s). Riordan are great vets! They were great when we were trying to find out what kind of puppy to get and also when we got him.
