My favorite genre, and so I have a whole list of thrillers that I love. May be of some help, here you go.
- Inception (2010): A thief who steals corporate secrets through use of dream-sharing technology is given the inverse task of planting an idea into the mind of a CEO.
- The Silence of the Lambs (1991): A young FBI cadet must confide in an incarcerated and manipulative killer to receive his help on catching another serial killer who skins his victims.
- Black Friday (2004): A film about the investigations following the 1993 serial Mumbai blasts, told through the different stories of the people involved - police, conspirators, victims, middle men.
- Psycho (1960): A Phoenix secretary steals $40,000 from her employer's client, goes on the run and checks into a remote motel run by a young man under the domination of his mother.
- Memento (2000): A man creates a strange system to help him remember things; so he can hunt for the murderer of his wife without his short-term memory loss being an obstacle.
- The Lives of Others (2006): In 1984 East Berlin, an agent of the secret police, conducting surveillance on a writer and his lover, finds himself becoming increasingly absorbed in their lives.

This is my favorite genre of movies. I think my top 5 movies of all times are listed in this thread.

This is a little borderline, but I'll add the first Saw movie.

Is The Thing a a thriller or a horror movie? I never really thought it was that scary.

I say it's more thriller/suspense with horrific sequences. But definitely a fun film. The prequel was ok, but not as good.

This can be a very interesting genre, if you find the good ones:

- Silence of the Lambs
- Se7en
- Fight Club
- Zodiac (most David Fincher, honestly)
- Session 9
- Gone Baby Gone
- Psycho
- American Psycho
- Manhunter and Red Dragon - retellings of the same book
- Clockwork Orange
- Frailty
- Ravenous
- Gone Baby Gone

I really liked the two Sherlock Holmes movies. I'm a sucker for a good fisticuffs scene.

China Syndrome, The
1979
TV reporter Kimberly Wells (Jane Fonda) yearns to do hard news and suddenly gets her wish while she and cameraman Richard Adams (Michael Douglas) are covering a routine story at the local nuclear plant. As they're escorted through the power station, they observe (and covertly film) a near-meltdown. Working with a whistleblower (Jack Lemmon), Wells and Adams try to get the truth out, but corporate interests behind the scenes have other ideas.

Frequency
2000
Ever since he was a kid, John Sullivan (Jim Caviezel) has dreamed of changing the events that took his fireman father's (Dennis Quaid) life on October 12, 1969. Then, through a series of miraculous events, John communicates with his dad and attempts to change the grisly outcome of that fateful day. But by entwining the past, present and future, John gets much more than he bargained for. ...

Lakeview Terrace
2008
This dramatic thriller from director Neil LaBute follows Chris and Lisa Mattson (Patrick Wilson and Kerry Washington) as they settle into their Los Angeles dream house -- only to be harassed by their off-kilter cop neighbor, officer Abel Turner (Samuel L. Jackson). Turner disapproves of the couple's interracial relationship and is determined to drive them away, but as the harassment turns violent, the newlyweds have no choice but to fight back

Mind Hunters
2004
Sequestered on a remote island, a training program for a nefarious FBI division called the Mindhunters is in full swing. These handpicked agents are an advanced psychological profiling group adept at cornering serial killers. But when it's discovered that one of the agents is actually a serial killer ready to strike, will the remaining six agents be able to finger the killer in time?

Star Chamber, The
1983
After seeing countless thugs turned loose thanks to legal loopholes or extraneous details, Judge Steve Hardin (Michael Douglas) accepts elder associate Benjamin Caulfield's (Hal Holbrook) offer to join the club known as "The Star Chamber." The group of nine judges uses any means necessary to ensure that criminals get what's coming to them, even if that means murder. When Hardin has second thoughts about his involvement, the club turns on him.

Unlawful Entry
1992
After a robbery attempt on their home, the Carrs (Madeline Stowe and Kurt Russell) have much more than a helping hand in L.A. police officer Pete Davis (Ray Liotta). Look closer into Liotta's hypnotic eyes, and there's always something sinister lurking. This time, he becomes completely obsessed with Mrs. Carr and plots to off the hubby, who's very much in the way. Lead performances make this not-so-original thriller much more watchable.

These are a half-dozen older flicks that no-one has mentioned. You might enjoy them.

Post was originally in table format; apparently the site host change corrupted the code. Hope this is now easier to read. :)

I recently watched "Oblivion" and it was much better than I expected. It's a sci-fi movie, but has a pretty good plot twist if that's what you are looking for.
