Golden Anniversary of the "Dirty Thirty"

Sounds like the 1959 'Dirty Thirty' team will be recognized at the Iowa game this weekend on the 'Golden Anniversary' of their season.

While I think it is admirable what they accomplished with a limited roster and injuries, I guess it was a reality check for me that our football achievements over the years must be pretty sparse that we celebrate a team that had a record of 7-3 and no bowl appearance. :huh:

It would be great if the team would wear the same colored uniforms and helmets that the Dirty 30 did.
