There are very few of us left, baseball fans that is. And that's a shame. Granted, the games do not have the action of basketball. or the violence of football, but the strategy and the suspense of a game like last night night is what excites us baseball fans. And it's special when the Cards win! Cub fans have a lot in common with Hawkeye fans. They can't stand it when a rivial is successful, and they have to try to downplay that success and try to spoil the moment.

What a Shocker this world series , nobody thought that the Cardinals could beat a very HOT Tiger team, BUT they did!

Congrats StL Cardinals for your tenth world series title. 2nd best in baseball!

That commerical they played with Lasorda and the Cub fan in the tree was a classic! I laughed my hiney off when I saw that. My Cub friend just shook his head.
