Coach Mac is confirming what I and others have said since this began - the staff knew nothing about this, the team does like the coaches and they all get along very well, and the players themselves knew nothing of Wesley's intentions. Any false accusations to the contrary are simply because of motives of those individuals making the false claims.

No kidding...you get the information from him and now you expect him to change his story?!

Personally, I believe the staff is either totally out of touch (if they didn't know anything or have any idea) or they are exaggerating this claim to protect themselves and make WJ look bad...he claims he told McDermott he had a problem and McDermott never did anything about it...we all know the majority of Cyclone fans are going to believe the "Iowa boy" coach over a player that has just defected.
