Wesley went through 20 minutes of practice today.

Need to be more consistant on the boards.

Did better at reducing turn overs.

Not shooting great since shooting 50% on threes during the pre-season

AT is a little robotic in his play.

Peterson will continue playing the point until Diante gets more experience.

Cory McIntosh left because he didn't get along with Taylor..otherwise he'd still be there.

We'd could be 4-0 right now if Mike was still playing. Decision needed to be made though.

With Lucca out and Wesley's injury, things appear to be worse than they actually are.

NCAA has asked for more info from ISU and Lucca's German coaches this week.

Lucca and Boeke being punished because they told the truth, unlike others that are playing in the NCAA.

Talking about upcoming schedule: UNI

UNI to win 34-10 in football.

Wow, Cmac left because of Taylor. I don't think Cmac is really any better than BP, but having a guard around who understands the offense would have been huge.

It is Chuck Reed, not Larry Morgan.

My respect for McDermott just increased a ton. He was pretty honest when asked the tough questions about his players leaving last season, namely that Taylor and Mcintosh did not get along.

Is Lucca update available? Did the NCAA find the paperwork after the fire?

Said he thinks the fact that NCAA continues to ask for more info suggests they're still looking, and looking close enough to see the circumstances.

But no decision yet.

Says the NCAA has requested some more information from Lucca and ISU. I think that is a very good sign. Shows that they are at least considering reducing the penalty.

To the people who thought we would be better off without Mike Taylor....even the coach disagrees with you.

You mean record wise THIS year? I hope that the people who thought that were in the extreme minority.

However, if you are talking better off as far as a program, there is no doubt we are better off without MT.

How is DG supposed to get the experience needed if GMAC keeps playing BP at the point?? Can't have it both ways coach.

uh, by playing DG intermittantly to gain the experience. DG played both Off and point last night.

Coach also stated that he would rather have a team doing the correct things on and off the court than having Mike Taylor play this year. I respect that and that he wants people to have integrity.

That is interesting that Corey McIntosh transferred because of issues with MT. I thought I had read that before on here, but now it's been confirmed.

That is something. Chemistry is vital to success. I wish that Taylor would have been thrown off the team before Corey decided to transfer. I know Corey was a bit of a disappointment on the court last season, but I thought he improved over the course of the season, and if nothing else he would have provided some very valuable and much needed experience in the backcourt this season.
