Has anybody received one of these offers? For those that haven't, I got this "official-looking" envelope and letter from Google and this GFK company. Inside was a crisp $5 bill just because I opened it. They are offering to have a professionally installed wireless router installed at my house so that they can track my internet traffic. They give me $100 when it's installed, and $30/month every month for each month I participate. If I add my phone, tablet or other computers, I get money for them as well.
I know, it sounds like a scam, or big brother. But frankly I don't care who sees what I do on the internet. But I am nervous about online banking and purchases.
For those of you that have gotten it, have any of you done it, or just tossed it out figuring that it was a scam or hated the thought of big brother?
