He should be a recruiter.

After Georges is done with his college career i would want him on the staff at isu. Could be the best recruiter of all time

Dude knocked it out of the park. What a well-spoken young man. Proud to have him a part of Cyclone Nation.

I love how this guy (as well as our east coast recruiting) get us attention from entities like 5 Star, SLAM, zagsblog, etc.

Georges needs to start recuriting guys in the 2013 class like Chris Thomas, Noel, Terrence Samuel, and Kyle Washington

What's not to like about this kid.....? Can't wait to see him in cardinal and gold!

Cyclone Nation should be stoked. Niang makes up one-fourth of Iowa State's vastly talented 2012 recruiting class, and the big man has plenty to say about his future running mates, along with what he brings to the table: Heart, hustle and a knack for scoring.

I see him as a leader on and off the court. Which I think is an understated quality. The team now seems to lack a leader.

A couple of points from those two videos:

1- He's very intelligent and well spoken. Impressive for a young man his age.
2- He's very fluid around the hoop. He may not wow you physically, but he looks like he'll be a very productive player in the B12.

He appears to have all the post-player fundamentals we currently lack (outside of Gibson maybe). Will be a nice compliment to the power-game of Royce next year.

It also looks like his ball handling/dribbling has improved. Just needs to add some more muscle/definition. Skill set way beyond his years.

I see a little Jackson Vroman in this video. He wasn't a great athlete but had quick feet and the ability to finish with both hands. I'd love to have another Vroman-type man the paint for the next 3-4 years...but lets just hope Georges doesn't party quite as hard as ol' Jackson did.

Can not wait to get this kid on campus...sounds like a coach when he speaks doesn't he? I'm thinking this guy is a floor general...a real leader. So glad we got him.

i love georges' game - you can use words about him you don't normally use for recruits. things like "fundamentally sound" and "uses both hands" and "good finisher." great kid, really happy for him, happy for isu.

Georges is going to really **** off some bigger, stronger, more athletic B12 players. Can't wait.
