Bo and crew will end up at Penn State. He’ll be a 4 time AA I think.
I don’t disagree with you, I’m leaning more towards ok state though because they saw DT doing his thing growing up and idolized him. They also passed on Penn state the first time and saw what Jax has been doing since being down in Oklahoma. Not at all surprised though if it’s Penn state. But I’m interested to see how these kids hold up in college with staying injury free. They’ve had a lot of miles on them already

I feel the same way toward him but with this, it’s different. You had teammates stealing others personal belongings and these Rape allegations and so on. Not a good look. I will say tho if he didn’t know about any of it then he can’t be fully scrutinized but if he knew about one of the issues or both then yes, that’s screwed up and deserves whatever comes at them.
Agree 100%. My post wasn’t worded very well, but you said exactly what I meant.

Idk why im being so delusional but is that bridge never going to happen between Iowa state and the Bassets. I mean you are getting 3 studs! Do we not have that money. I mean Oklahoma state has a jammed packed room for Bo and does Nebraska have more wrestling money than us? Am I delusional for thinking these guys are program changers? When I watch Bo wrestle it’s like I’m watching Brent Metcalf again
I don’t think we have the money to bring him here. Plus our room isn’t quite up to his standards I feel. Okie state has a list of star studded talent and the same goes for PSU. In the grand scheme of things he wants a good RTC, ours is growing but not quite the same as others.

I agree, but if they look past the current roster, Melvin would have David to workout with and he’d learn a ton of DC. He’d also have other guys in the room to push him. Bo would have Ech to push him and challenge him as well as the frost boys, assuming they stick around. Not to mention Ortega. I agree, they wouldn’t look at our room and think this is the best spot for them but they could be challenged here if they wanted to

But what’s interesting to me Iowa RTC is decent but nothing like Oklahoma state and Penn state. That’s where I think that never really mattered to him I feel like he wanted to build something at Iowa.

I will say, this makes me think that Penn State honestly considered bringing in AJ Ferrari to be the Hwt next year. It seems like Cael will do whatever it takes to win and even break his points record, if he was willing to put up with this with Cstar, maybe AJ wouldn't have been that bad in his eyes

It appears that Cael has gotten addicted to the "win at all costs" mantra. He could have kicked cstar off the team and still won the title. Makes you wonder how many other shysters (past and present) have worn the PSU singlet since Cael started winning.

Not attempting to down play the severity of accusations and potential ramifications here, but there is a lot to unpack here.

On the team side... seems like a real personal beef between Bartlett/Starocci with the Bartlett's being the only non-anonymous accusers. There are what, 35-40 other wrestlers in that room? You'd think you'd certainly have a plethora of information and evidence from there, especially if it was conduct in the wrestling room/locker rooms and other theft(s). Also, I'd be curious about former teammate "Mark". I have to assume they are using fake name there? Because the only Mark that was ever a teammate of Starocci was Mark Hall and I'd sure as hell bet he's got no fear of Carter.

Now on the alledged sexual assualts, I'm trying to carefully read the article as it relates to Cael. The article clearly says that Bartlett reported the theft to Cael and Cael said he'd support Beau's decision into an investigation. They also say the non-consensual photos we're reported to Cael and nothing was done. Now that is a big deal in it's own right, but I don't see anything that states any of the other allegations being reported to Cael? That's impactful in the sense of whether he was responsbile for initiating a Title IX investigation, etc.

There is a lot more that needs to come out here. Good on them for the scoop, but a student run paper isn't going to be the best investigative journalism out there! Could be a big issue for that program of course

This should be an additional shot across the bow, of what Cyclone Wrestling has in front of them.
Is it surmountable, before it’s too late. We are looking over the cliff.

I guess you do have a point there. I personally think Iowa was only his number because that was his team growing up and Lee wrestles there which happened to be his hero.
