Also, good on Beau for speaking up. It takes a lot of courage to do that and he seems like a great kid. If any of that stuff is true and Cael and staff knew, shame on them for putting winning above everything else. They still would've won the title if they suspended Carter and wrestled Ryder. Pretty disgusting behavior from that staff to be honest.
This will sway the Bassett camp away from that program id imagine.
If Bo still goes to Penn state I’d say it was never about his faith journey..
Beau is a man for stepping up and putting this out there. Cael and company do a great job of window dressing and diverting attention elsewhere. I think people don’t realize just how much Cael loves winning.

Cael turning a blind eye on it is not good either. It's the age old rule: if the athlete is doing great, don't mess it up regardless of the things they do. Ped State football did the same thing for many years with Sandusky.

I never looked at Cael with the same vitriol as many did, and still do, when he left, but this is some ****** up ****.
Idk why im being so delusional but is that bridge never going to happen between Iowa state and the Bassets. I mean you are getting 3 studs! Do we not have that money. I mean Oklahoma state has a jammed packed room for Bo and does Nebraska have more wrestling money than us? Am I delusional for thinking these guys are program changers? When I watch Bo wrestle it’s like I’m watching Brent Metcalf again
Bo and crew will end up at Penn State. He’ll be a 4 time AA I think.
I feel the same way toward him but with this, it’s different. You had teammates stealing others personal belongings and these Rape allegations and so on. Not a good look. I will say tho if he didn’t know about any of it then he can’t be fully scrutinized but if he knew about one of the issues or both then yes, that’s screwed up and deserves whatever comes at them.
The article makes it pretty clear that Cael knew.
