They should keep their souls and finish 15th like ISU. Or did ISU sell their soul for 15th with AE, Chittum, Bockman, Carroll?
Can you explain how getting our guys from the portal and getting number 1 guys not even in the portal are even similar?

Chittum wasn’t in the portal, and dont kid yourself if you think there weren’t conversations with Carroll pre-portal.

Just have to call out the hypocrisy. ISU plays the same game Iowa does, just Iowa does it better. I dont like them, but respect them and am honestly jealous of their success. They’re doing everything possible to put the best team they can on the mat.
It’s sour grapes to say things like Iowa is “selling their souls”. Iowa is trying to win within the current rules. I believe Dresser is too. Just sucks Iowa is doing better.
It’s actually completely different because Dresser is in charge of his program and Brands gave the keys of his program to a donor.
If we can give it to a donor who can bring in multiple title contenders each year, please do it.
That’s a fair point but your point that they’re the same situation is not true.
Yeah, it’s really great for the sport to let other programs develop guys into title contenders just to have a donor buy them for your team for their last season.
And you know good and well that the AE, Chittum and Carroll situations are nowhere near the same situation as purchasing 1 year rentals like Buchanan, Parco and Teemer but you’ll argue it regardless.
So, we shouldn’t go after guys like Buchanan and Teemer? We care more about the sport than about the success of ISU? Who’s a fan now?

Yeah, you bashing ISU for “15th at NCAA’s” definitely proves your fandom.
Chittum wasn’t in the portal because he was never on the team. You know this.
You also know he was leaving Iowa city regardless because of who they brought in.
