Gameday Collector Series T-shirts

Figured I would put these out there for people that haven't seen them and to see what everyone thinks. These are for sale from the University Bookstore. I don't understand why they made the black and gray colored shirts...

Shirts for game against Iowa(cardinal)

Kansas(gray)

Texas(black)

aTm(gold)

and OSU(dark gray)

I still kinda want all of them...

Whomever thought black or gray "gameday" shirts were a great idea should be fired.

Otherwise some of them are alright.

its got a whole lot to do with not caring a F what the kids to the east color themselves in, and a whole lot more to do with the fact cardinal, gold and dark colors look good together. Black Tee with IState logo was a player favorite, the charcoal IState shirts look good as well, We shouldnt be limited to two colors, of course on gameday you want to see cardinal or gold, but other options make $.

Wow...those are garbage! The colors make no sense...they actually coordinate with the opposing team if anything! See the Kansas gray, and the Okie State dark gray/black and orange (the cardinal and gold put together from a distance will look a little orange). If our entire student action is wearing these, yikes. Not to mention the logos on each are unreadable and make no sense (the TAMU one for sure).

Buy them to support the university, just don't wear them to the game. The cardinal and gold ones you could get away with though.

Wow...ever since they changed our secondary logo, merchandise design has gone downhill...fast.

The only problem I have is that the text on the Texas and OK State shirts look orange instead of cardinal and gold - I can only imagine what that will look like in the stadium, especially since the OK State game is a Friday Night game on ESPN2. Using my kindergarten primary color skills, I know that combining red and yellow creates orange, and factoring in the stadium lights and how the TV camera's will attempt to white balance, the orange color will be even more prevalent and our stadium will look like it's filled with OK State fans instead of Cyclone fans. A cardinal game (ex. the Iowa game shirts)would have been more appropriate as it wouldn't bleed into another color so easily.

The KU shirt slogan is terrible.

I'd never wear a shirt that basically says our basketball team doesn't have a chance of beating KU.

I absolutely could not believe this. We suck vs. KU now? **** that.

This is what jumped out at me too. Who the hell approved this crap? I wonder how the basketball team feels when they see our own marketing people throw them under the bus.

I guess I should start a business making ISU shirts if this is the best the university can do.

I hope the majority of our fans are smarter than this.

I too would like to see who was responsible for these designs/slogans. These are a joke. I say that person should have to buy them all so that someone else could come up with better design before the season. Heck, plain cardinal and gold shirts are better than these.
