And a note of sportsmanship that both our MBB and WBB team seem to have, I don't see them faking it much on phantom elbows to try and get calls or falling over on flops where they are barely touched or maybe not touched at all.

Some ESPN talking heads posted and discussed a March Top 16 by region this afternoon after one of the women's games. Had ISU as a #4 in one region and Iowa as a #3 in another. Pretty similar resumes and both lead by seniors who are among the best ever at their school. Iowa moved into 2nd place in Big 10 today. Would be pretty cool if both made the Sweet 16.

“Rough and tough???” Is Huggy Bear coaching the WV women, too?

Might as well be. WV WBB has been thug-ball for quite a few years. You can't make a cut or try to use a pick without getting held or body blocked. At least Carey doesn't whine about foul calls as much as Marian Washington used to.

Above observations are correct in that this team seems to possess the ability to play through that much better than some of our past teams.

The above is true - but not as bad as Texas was in Hilton. It was ridiculous what UT was allowed to get away with.

Lots of WBB on TV (10 I can get) today

Best games:
On now Florida State at Notre Dame ESPN
1:00 NW at Minnesota BTN (okay, not great but I am a Minnesotan)
1:00 Tennessee at Miss. State ESPN
3:00 Oregon at Stanford ESPN2
3:00 Iowa at Ohio State BTN

ND's Mikayla Vaughn just got almost knocked out by an elbow. TKO, could hardly get up and walk. No fragrant 1 cause it was her teammate Shepard who did it. Weird seeing someone actually get hurt and no foul after all of the incidental contact and reaction acting/flops I 've seen this year that get technicals.
I assume a fragrant 1 foul has something to do with passing gas...
