the resolution for the 480mb is terrible. Someone needs to direct from tivo to pc this or something. This persons shrinking program is embarassing.

I hope you aren't trying to view this in a full screen. I created the small file because the large one would have take nearly a week for the second seeder to finish. By then we would be more interested in UNLV.

With this file, I specifically stated it was intended to be viewed in a small 320 x 240 window. To do justice to this 3 hour game without commercials, the file size would need to be about 7.5GB. That would take far too long to seed with my limited upload rate.

Here is the description that is posted with the torrent on the host:

This is a small version (320 x 240) of the Toledo - Iowa State game played in Ames on 31 August 2006. It is intended to be viewed in a small computer window and is not suitable for full screen viewing or burning to DVD.

Psyclone: Thank you very much for this excellent service, and I'm happily waiting for my big file to download. I have 3.07 gig of it now, and I'm hoping for it to be done by tomorrow morning, and I'll seed with you then. I wasn't able to tape the game, so I haven't seen the broadcast and I enjoy watching what the team has to offer. We really appreciate it.

I also got the small clip and it's not bad. I don't know what kind of quality you were looking for out of a 3.5 hour broadcast when you saw it was only 500 megs. Let's get real here people.

I didn't create the large file. I think the guy that did said he missed the first part and I don't think he edited out the commercials.

I created a smaller version when it looked like the big file was going to take too long for those people that live out of state. It was a compromise while they waited for the big version (which is 10x bigger) to download.

I do have a large file version but I haven't posted a torrent for it. I captured it digitally out of my cable box. It is a 20GB file which is way too big for Mediacom's 256kB/s upload limit. I have stripped the commercials out and compressed it to a DVD, which isn't too bad, but you really never want to compress over 2 hours on a standard 4.7GB DVD. And this thing is 3 hours.

Many thanks to whoever created the original large file. It took a couple of days with only the one complete file, but it finally finished last night. Too bad there wasn't more than one, but everyone is very greatful.

And thanks for the small file, although I didn't try it (its the thought that counts!)
