I was very happy to see Jonathan Pryce on the cast. He is a great actor. I also like Doran Martell.

Some very big characters left out of this casting from the books, but it is only partial. I expect the TV Series is going to have to stray pretty far from the books.

I will be disappointed if Arianne is left out. I pictured a young Monica Bellucci when reading her chapters. Hence, the disappointment.

Or Greyjoys. Considering they make up a significant part of the fourth book (for better or worse...) Several other characters are also notably absent considering where Tyrion's storyline currently stands, although just the names of these characters would count as spoilers. I suspect that they just haven't released the full cast list yet (or won't because of spoilers).

I'm sure many would enjoy his role regardless of who played it, but he is awesome.

One of my favorite performances of his was when he played an evil Rupert Murdoch type in a James Bond flick. Brazil is one of my favorite movies.
