I think Ken was alluding to just the rumors about Dekkers not being a great leader/locker room guy.

No one (even the staff) knows anything official yet about the gambling consequences. It has been a 'wait and see' game ever since the news came out in early May...
What are the odds the DCI report gets released before fall camp starts (less than a month away)?
With the players rumored to be involved, the way in which the team and staff prepares for the season could be completely altered by the report and subsequent suspensions/no suspensions.
Feels like the longer this thing is drawn out for - the more impact it'll have on the season and prep for the season.

Correct. That is what happened with the Iowa Baseball players.
Players under any sort of investigation would be held out I assume. I that would count towards their suspension if they were eventually given one as well. Which is unfortunate and another reason why this whole situation needs to be resolved sooner rather than later.
The questions/comments will be thinly veiled about the "backup QB" competition, and the need for a backup and anything can happen, etc.

1 - There is nothing known right now by anybody but the players and the DCI with regards to any potential crimes and/or betting activities. Only the "preliminary" names were provided to ISU. No further conversations between players and coaches are allowed on that subject.
2 - The questions will likely be pretty open ended and softball.
3 - Coach speak is to always say something like "we have more depth at the QB position than we've ever had and if there were scenarios where a player couldn't participate due to injury or anything else, it's next man up, that's why we practice".
It’ll be a lot of “there’s a lot of competition within that group right now, we have some really good young guys and players we feel comfortable with there.”
Doubt many names will be mentioned unless directly asked about.
