Iowa State Notifies NCAA of Sports Gambling Allegations Against 15 AthletesI thought we hadn't reported anything to the NCAA yet because they were waiting until the DCI investigation was completed.
Plus this thread started on 5/13.
Knowing Iowa State, we probably submitted these on April 29th, so they will bring down the hammer on us.Iowa State Notifies NCAA of Sports Gambling Allegations Against 15 Athletes
From May 8th so we may be in the clear.
It says in the fine print that Kansas is exempt. Are these the blue blood penalties or Cleveland State penalties.

That is what worries me.I suppose this could be something:
- Student-athletes who engage in activities to influence the outcomes of their own games or knowingly provide information to individuals involved in sports betting activities will potentially face permanent loss of collegiate eligibility in all sports. This would also apply to student-athletes who wager on their own games or on other sports at their own schools.
Wouldn't your returning starting QB and highly recruited starting RB be one of these four?? The smoke and fire are still alive.
I do know that the gambling company's have come out and said that the betting that took place did not effect the integrity of the game. That is what worries me.
Exactly this. The NCAA doesn’t want a handful of players on every team suspended for half/all of the season.Probably under the assumption that betting apps are every where and many athletes all over the country are betting on something.
Yes I know but the way it reads if they bet on any sport from their college it is instant loss of eligibility. So say a football player bet on an ISU basketball game whether they effected integrity or not they are done.I do know that the gambling company's have come out and said that the betting that took place did not effect the integrity of the game.
