that song makes my BP spike. I used to sit by someone who had that as their ringtone. This person did not believe in putting a phone on vibrate or silent. This person's spouse called every day at 12:04 and the phone would ring and ring WHERE DID YOU COME FROM WHERE DID YOU GO WHERE DID YOU COME FROM COTTON EYE JOE DERRN NAA DERRR

I seriously just got mad typing that up. I am really glad I got moved now. Well, now they put that person in a corner anyway.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. AC/DC =/= Led Zeppelin and Queen.

AC/DC was crappy bro rock long before Limp Bizkit and the like.

Whoa, whoa, whoa yourself there. AC/DC is crappy bro rock? They might certainly not be in the same category as Zep and Queen, but they're about 1,000 steps up from Fred Durst and co.

My vote goes to Tub Thumping by Chumbawamba.

Good call. My gosh the late 90's had some absolutely horrific "music."

Uptown Funk. Hate that song and hate everything Bruno Mars.

Centuries by Fallout Boy. College sports ruined that song for me.

YES! I cannot stand that song. I don't even listen to the radio anymore because it is so repetitive and most of the music is awful.

Just reading through the poll options made my skin crawl.

Nothing worse that hearing one of these Mind Worm songs and having them stuck in your brain the rest of the day.

I have to take exception to Bohemian Rhapsody being on the list though. What stations are you listening to where this is way overplayed? Yes it's a popular classic but it's one of the best rock anthems of all time. Queen gets turned UP whenever I catch it on the radio and I have tons of Queen in my personal playlist.

I voted for Carly Jepsen because that's one that just drills its way into my cranium and refuses to leave.

Write in votes for:

Rebecca Black - Friday Luckily it was a smaller window of popularity, but it was a painful window

The Wanted - Glad You Came Something about the repetitiveness of this song and the catch lyrics makes it roll around in my brain faaaar to long.

When that song came out in 1997 my younger cousin the CD from her parents for Christmas.

She was 12 at the time.

Apparently they'd never listened to the lyrics of the song or knew anything about it because they were religious enough to NEVER have allowed her to hear that song.

I would have had to totally break my usual office demeanor and sternly told them to please put their phone of vibrate. If they still refused I would probably lose it or go to a manager. That is effing torture.

All the songs on the list are amazing. Spotify playlist made.

The Beatles and the Who are annoying to me for some reason, I respect them and their music but MMMMMEEEEEEEHHHHHHH. Flame on.

This was that same person I've told you about before. I actually went to HR (not specifically about the phone, more about the yelling at their spouse over the phone part). Found out I was not the first to do so. I don't know if they were the only person in the world capable of that job or what, but it seemed like nothing was every really done.

But they are in a corner now away from the people who wanted to slowly smother them and next to someone they get along with well and who would probably be able to say "hey, can you tone it down" without them getting suuuuuuuuuuper pissy.

I would feel the urge to do really underhanded and mean things to them. Like mess with their computer or wipe my used Kleenex on their stuff.

Sounds like one of the worst possible coworkers.

I now have to put my headphones on and listen to something, ANYTHING, in order to get this song out of my head. I didn't even have to hear it. Just THINKING about it is giving me PTSD.

Happy could be one of the worst, overplayed songs in the history of man. That song makes my blood boil, thus not making me so happy....

My vote goes to Tub Thumping by Chumbawamba.

Their music isn't as egregiously crappy as Limp Bizkit's, for sure, but they were the precursor to that movement, in my opinion. It's sort of like they started with this simple, crappy bro-rock sandwich, and the "artists" like Fred Durst dressed it up with Miracle Whip and all of the other things that can make something terrible.

(I don't even know where that metaphor was going, btw. I didn't get a lot of sleep last night.)

please remove Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen...............Queen is one of the most under-rated bands of all time. The rest of the songs on your list can be permanently deleted.

I agree with this. No AC/DC = No Limp Bizkit so AC/DC can go SAFO.
