If you like the rain, you're about to have the happiest ten days ever (if you're in Central Iowa).

What is your favorite type of weather? I find 72 and overcast to be just about perfect.

My favorite weather is when it's just warm enough to wear shorts and t-shirt, but not so hot I'm sweating my balls off.

We sometimes get that weather in late spring and early fall. But sometimes we skip from 50s to 90s because Iowa weather sucks.

69 is of course the perfect temperature, but it really depends on what you are doing. Football, yard, garden around 60-70's. Lake 80-90's. Hunting much cooler, especially frost with pheasant hunting.

It is! I think Monday is going to be (as of last time I looked) the only sunny day this weekend, though! :)

I have ideal temperature ranges, both daytime high and overnight low. Some of it depends on season and situation. Regarding precipitation, I like a little variety, but get bogged down if rain or snow is way above average.

Regarding the sky: Living where I do, I've had as much overcast-ness to last me for .. forever. Give me mostly-sunny or clear, regardless of hot/cold extremes.

Since it's been windy, cold and rainy all spring I'd like to see at least one clear sunny day, 78 degrees with wind variable at no more than 5 mph. You know, just once again before I die in this godforsaken weather hell known as the midwest.

Remember when we used to have spring in the midwest? That was cool, I am sure after all this rain it will be 1000 degrees and summer. But for me it is fall when it's between 50-70, plus you know football

I've always liked northern California coastal weather: a mix of sun and overcast, usually cool (60s) with the sea breeze, and low humidity. It's what I call "sweatshirt weather." Not having one would leave you cold, but having anything heavier would be too warm. We get a few of those in Iowa, but not enough to need more than one hand to count them.

Somewhat related note: I bought one of my winter coats in San Francisco on July 28th.

I've heard sweatshirts are a big seller at Fisherman's Wharf in the summer.

I’m ok with anything in the 55-80 range as long as it’s not windy. I have an irrational hatred for wind.

Depends on what I'm doing. Ice fishing, I like a sunny day above freezing and little to no wind. Deer hunting in mid-October, I like low 40s in the morning, warming to upper 50s in the evening. Summer I like low to mid 70s with low humidity and a nice breeze, so we can air the house out and read a book on our deck.

On a mountain: 12" of fresh powder that blew through the night before, but a bluebird day today. Snowboard strapped to my feet.

    Otherwise: shorts and sweatshirt weather.

Winter is fine, I just hate the short days. But you can always put on more clothes, as opposed to summer, which sucks in the first place, but sucks worse in places with humidity and bugs.

The exact weather we will be having this Fri-Sat-Sun.

70's, sunny, low humidity, with cool nights

In San Francisco, it's very easy to play "spot the tourist." They're the ones in shorts and t-shirts freezing their butts off while the locals are dressed for the climate (or micro-climates, since there are so many in the Bay Area). "Sunny California" doesn't necessarily apply to San Francisco. But drive an hour to Napa and it can be pushing 100.
