I actually mashed a couple batches with them one day....I mean, not a big deal or anything...not trying to sound like a big deal, but it was a fun day for me...first batch was mashing when I got there, watched them mash out, put on the boots and shovelled grain out of the mash tun, mashed in for the second batch. They were also distilling an earlier batch and emptying barrels of whiskey for bottling the next day.
I enjoy their Bourbon and Cowboy whiskey, just opened my first bottle of dark rum, and have no complaints (I'm a whiskey man).
If you're in the area, check their events, they have wine tastings, a small kitchen, and events there. Kevin Burt is going to be there tomorrow night.
