No idea why I hadn't followed their account yet, so I just did. Then I started looking through recent tweets and found this gem:


Good God, our athletic department needs to find a new proofreader (or quit touting academics) if they put an apostrophe in what is clearly meant to be a plural and not possessive word "schools." (It's in the tweet, not in the photo.)

Sticking an apostrophe on a standard plural is one of my biggest pet peeves - it drives me nuts. Okay, fine, some people don't have the education level that I do and I cut them some slack. But when a representative of "the 11th best school in the nation" according to this list does this, it makes me want to slap some sense into someone.
