Probably nothing new to anyone, but I thought it was really interesting. Until this year, Florida hadn't been west of the Univ. of Arkansas since 1983.

This article got me thinking, next season we've got to be one of the few BCS schools in the nation that will play a Non-AQ school at their place

Good question. You think as a traditionally lower end BCS program we'd be able to get a better deal from CUSA programs that would feel like itd be a great shot at a win over a BCS team.

Our 9 game conference schedule also doesnt help. Instead of having 4 conference road games every year, now we have 5 every other year, and with iowa also being a road game on the opposite year, we set a ceiling of at most 7 home games before we even get to our other 2 nonconference games.

This is also why it bugs me when people say 'we're scared of X team if we buy out the return game'... no, we're just doing what everyone else is and trying to maximize the number of home games we have.

Because they want to show their "dominance" to the rest of the country by beating on all the FCS schools they can.
