I'll be interested to see what their schedule looks like and if their defense will ever improve.

The defense was mediocre to poor this past season, but that was an improvement over absolutely dreadful the season before. I'm just hoping for decent to mediocre next season.

Fran and his assistant coaches have no idea how to coach defense. It's why they will never be anything more than an occasional bubble team. I think I heard someone say the schedule for them gets more difficult next year? If that's the case, they will be on the outside looking in. Hope the extend Franny before that.

They went from complete dogsheet to a round of 32 team over the last year, I'm going to guess they make some improvements (Cook leaving might hurt But I never really thought he was nearly as good as the hype. No way he sticks in the NBA) between this year and next also. On paper they are a top 25 team and I wouldn't doubt if they end up highly ranked at some point. They dont tend to play anyone in the non-conference (except us) and it looks like we wont be having a fantastic year.
