Baylor looked pretty impressive tonight. They are an upcoming program, may not contend for the Big 12 South, but a bowl trip is possibly for Baylor.

Yeah, I thought Baylor would make a bowl game last year after their start, but they pissed that away. Didn't get to see their game tonight but not sure that I would call a 7 point output "impressive".

As for sCUm's schedule, I think the KSU game could decide the cellar for the B12N. That is shaping up to be an awful game. Just wish I could watch it on TV, but can't due to the crappy *** B12 TV package. The only other possible win I see on sCUm's schedule is KU.

Colorado State shouldn't be to bad, and Kansas State looked every bit as bad as Colorado on Saturday. Besides, they have a new coach, might take a bit more time to get the new system going. I think they win 3 games this year. They might suprise nebraska ;)

One game...esp. the first game of the year...does not define the rest of the season.

Sure, I'm well aware they lost to Montana State. I'm just gonna wait to see CU, K-State, ISU and the rest of the nation play another game or two before I crown national champions and cellar-dwellers.

Good point, I definitely agree. We were tied with Illinois State at halftime last year our first game, but we were still probably the most talented team in the north.

Also...OU was defeated by TCU opening day last year. TCU turned out to be a pretty good team and OU went on to have a good season.

It is WAY too early to begin making complete judgements about teams.

Zero wins for Colorado unless they pull one out at end of year. A lot of their talent has left for greener pastures: grades, cornerback made a poster child of, not religious enough, too party animal, etc.
One of their fine cornerbacks who was made an example of by Dan Hawkins signed up a week ago at Montana State, practiced, and did quite well against Colorado on Saturday. Did he just pick Montana State because Colorado was to play them a week later? He probably had remnants of the game plan. Or he knew the CO qb like a book.
Unbelievable. Like one of our linebackers quitting and transferring to UNI and a week later clobbering us on defense. So befitting that it happened to the Buffo Butts. And garn, I cannot believe your reputation is a minus 29 already. Tough group.

In yesterday's loss, Colorado had a whopping 28 yards of total offense in the......

second half.
