Just read he wasn’t in the hall of fame. wtf. He did so much for the game. Cy Young, rookie of the year. Baseball hall
Of fame needs to re evaluate itself

Man this guy was a fixture of my youth. My dad was stationed in SoCal during his time in the Navy and turned into a big time LA Dodgers fan. Fernando was so unique with that delivery of his. One of the funnier quotes in sports history IMO was when Tommy Lasorda was asked about Fernando's contract negotiations in 1981...

"He wants Texas back."

RIP

I heard he used to breathe through his eye lids, like one of those lava lizards from the Galapagos Islands. jk. RIP, Fernando.

The first legit baseball glove I got in the first grade was a Rawlings Fernando Valenzuela. Still have it. Sad he won't see this LAD/NYY Series. RIP.
