Female announcers for women's athletic events

Am I the only one that's annoyed by this?

Nothing against women in general, but I just find it annoying that they are always the announcers for women's events.

I think women's sports would be taken far more seriously with more men announcing and breaking down games/events.

Accordingly, i don't have a problem with women announcing or breaking down men's events either.

I guess my point was that I don't have a problem with women announcers, just that they always put like 5 of them on every women's event.

The yankees have a woman announcer. And didn't one of the men's games last year have a woman announcer?

I don't really care as long as they do a good job and are knowledgeable.
