I always read the transcript, but a recap would be ok. Have you tried running the audio through a speech to text converter?

I agree with an earlier post, if you do audio, PLEASE capture the questions. cyclones.com is really bad about not doing that.

Thanks for asking!!

Fanatic --

I want your opinion on something. Every week, I transcribe CPR's press conference. I don't mind doing this, but it takes FOREVER. I just got everything ready so now, I can post the presser in audio format.

Which do you prefer? The text or the audio...or both?

If I were to stop typing out the entire presser, I'd have a lot more time for features, analysis etc. Just picking your brain here. Please give me some constructive feedback. This is your site.

I like the written version because most audio doesn't play at work, but as long as you write an article that touches on the main points it's not a big deal.

Chris, although it looks like you have your response from the people on this board and have already decided what you want to do with it I will say this. Use the video of the press conference and concentrate on writing articles. I know how much of a pain it is to transcribe video to written form.

One nice thing about having the internet is that you can do both since it is a multimedia platform. Not too mention this website could use more videos. Post the video and then spend more time writing feature article because your audience (Cyclone Fanatics) is going to be much more interested in feature articles than reading/listening to Rhoads' conference.

Another thing you could do is if you could get someone else to vlog as you have 3 other writers writing, or print, content for the website to kind of balancing it out. I apologize if you already know this or have heard before, but I just want to give you some more feedback.

Hey Chris, love the new audio option however I have one request. Is there anyway we can get a volume level on this? I am unable to change the sound level on my computer at work so it would blow my eardrum out if I tried to listen. Right now I just set the earbuds on my desk and use them as speakers.
