With the Auburn plane leaving at 3pm, is the former ISU coach meeting with his former team right now? If so, do we have any "flies" on that wall to listen in?

i know they are having a team meeting, a player told me that they weren't sure if chizik would show his face. they said "if he shows his face, we will have words for him." I would pay more money to be in that team meeting if chizik is there than any football game he ever coached here.

Chizik is here, will meet face to face, then hop on Jet with family and depart Ames for the last time. Never really seemed like he unpacked his things.

I know that JP is moving fast on the hire, thats about it.

where is the compliance linebacker, ace bowen when you need him. I hope chizik leaves ames with a couple black eyes and a broken cheek bone.

Where they meeting at? I'd like to blow up a huge picture of Bates and a huge picture of Chizik as a momento for when he leaves.

Same here. I would pay more to be in that meeting than I did for my season tickets this past year.

I wish the players well in the meeting, and that the Lord will grant them an extra measure of wisdom and clarity as they speak. At this point, it's not worth blowing a gasket and saying something that could come back in a bad way in the future.

Also...at some point in the future, the guy ISU hires will likely have to make the same speech to his present team.

You have to wonder what Chizik could possibly say to the team. I know Mac went in after he was let go and told the players to stick with their commitments and all that. That would be pretty hypocritic if Chizik went in and told them to stick with their commitments. Any new word on if he's still trying to snake a few of the players along to Auburn with him?
