I love how Gilbert, after he makes the 2 on the drive, sees and senses that Tamin is going to intercept the inbound pass, and drifts off to a great position to catch the amazing assist from Lipsey, draining the 3.

I wonder if they are planning to redshirt him. Can't they participate in 8 games and still redshirt? Doesn't seem logical to me when he looks to be at least a good role player. Especially if we loose another big.

No. You play in basketball at all and you can't redshirt. That is only in football. There is an automatic qualifier for a medical redshirt that is something like that at the beginning of the season.

I'm not sure why all the handwringing over Omaha. He has played in 8 of 9 games. I'm sure he will play more when he is more ready to contribute.

That whole sequence was performance art. Gilbert making the tough shot over Sandfort for his 8th point in a row, the Lipsy steal/assist for Gilbert 3 pointer for 11th point in a row, the Fran TO, then the most raucous version of the Juicy Wiggle of all time. Even the blue hairs were trying to do the choreography.

Woke the blue hairs up, huh? It's good for 'em! Haha

I love this, after Keshon turns Dix over, TJ says something to JR Bount. I think he said something like this: "Keshon is really focused tonight, I can feel it. He's gonna have special night tonight. He just pulled down Dix's underwear!"

I had some issues at first last night, but it worked eventually. Although, the stream skipped like the last five minutes of game time too, so... the replay might not be the most stable.

I was really hoping to find the whole sequence as a highlight. The steal and three is great but I feel like the jumper, the all-out effort interception, and the transition three together take it to another level. Oh, a nice take to the basket. That's cool. Then, oh wait, yes! And... BOOM!

You actually are on to something here, but that's the medical redshirt rule (1/4 of the season) that you are thinking of.
